General Info & Coming Events
Play 9 – Every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday PM, Friday. $5 comp fee and prizes for the best weekly score. All scores go through for Play 9 qualification.
Membership details: Golfers - Please contact the office if you have not received your membership Invoice as yet. Bowlers and Croquet players will be receiving their invoices shortly.
Friday Evenings: Every Friday evening between 4:30 and 7:00pm both club bars (Caddyshack and Devonport Bowls & Croquet) will be open – It would be great to see members supporting one of the venues. Visitors are very welcome.
All Members of the Devonport Country Club are invited to attend an updated session to be held at the Devonport Bowls and Croquet Club on Monday 24th June 2019 at 6:00 for 6:15pm. On the agenda are:

This is an opportunity for you to learn more about each of the strategy and help us to maximise the potential of our new Club.
Firewood: The Monday volunteer gang have been working very hard, and have stacked a lot of blocked semi-dry firewood for sale. There is 36 cu/mt available for sale at $60 cu/mt to Country Club members. To order please contact the Office.
From The Greens
Golf Course:
Repairs to the irrigation trenches has continued.
Irrigation Project: The 12th hole has been completed and the 18th green area will be completed early into the coming week. There after
clean up and final commissioning will commence in preparation for handover of the system.
No 10: Repairs to the rain damaged has started and re-seeding of the affected areas is progressing well.
Members will notice that a number of trees have been removed along the left side of the 2nd fairway in accordance with the “Course Master Plan”. Thanks to the volunteers for their hard work.
Bowling Greens:
Maintenance on the new bowling greens is progressing well with the surface down to 10mm. They are looking really good and this will assist in keeping the greens disease free.
Bowling greens in Devonport are recovering well and also starting to look good.

Important Safety Notice: Players are not permitted to access the VOS Construction fenced area alongside the 11th fairway, and behind the 9th and 18th greens to retrieve golf balls. If a player’s ball enters this area, a replacement ball must be played at either, line of entry or from the respective drop zones without penalty. (GUR)
