Blessed with perfect weather on Sunday the Devonport Cricket Club held their annual fund-raising golf day at the Devonport Country Club. A total of eighty-nine players registered for the competition. There was a good mix of players coming from local country club members and past cricketers supporting their old club. Brad Moore, the convenor of the day, did a great job in organising the event, along with a tremendous array of prizes for the winners. Brad said he would like to thank his organising committee as well as the Devonport Country Club for their help in putting the event together. He also extended gratitude to all the sponsors who contributed to the success of the day.
