Course Superintendent Craig Walker and his staff have been busy over the past few weeks improving our outdoor facilities.
It is so very pleasing to see the croquet greens up and growing beautifully. The greens have had their first ‘shave’ and cutting will gradually take it down through the month of March so as not to burn the grass. Hopefully, we will see play on the area in the near future.
The new putting green is also growing well.
Volunteers are to be thanked for planting out the grasses on the humps between the 10thfairway and the bowling greens.
Special appreciation must go to Stephen Hill who grew over a thousand special grass seedlings for this purpose.
