The 2020 Morcom Cup, Champion of Champions and ladies 36 Hole Stroke Championships took place at Devonport Country Club last Weekend. The windy conditions on Saturday made scoring difficult, despite the golf course being in outstanding condition. The weather on Sunday improved but scoring was still tough.

One stroke back on 73 was Wynyard’s Brayden Field with Jack Lakin another shot further back on 74. On Sunday in near perfect conditions Longmore held onto his lead shooting one over par 71 in the second round and following it up with a 74 in the final round to win the event by one shot from Field who shot 72 in the morning and followed it up with a 73 in the afternoon.
